My name is Ruth Bain and I am an aspiring graphic designer and artist.  I say aspiring – I’m not quite there yet!  I spend a lot of time designing posters and graphics for leaflets and websites for friends and my workplace and have built up my skills on an entirely amateur basis.

I enjoy painting and have a number of paintings on the go most of the time – my current work is mostly of trees, leaves and blossom – examples on the other page…

I like knitting too and hand dye wool when I have the time.  I love making multicoloured wool and turning into nice things.

I live in Glasgow and work in a community centre, which I love most of the time.
